Nick Hornby interviews David Simon
Came across this interview with David Simon from The Believer magazine in 2007 - Simon is the main man behind the brilliant HBO TV series The Wire. The interview is conducted by the author Nick Hornby and is well worth a read. If you haven't seen The Wire, apparently the favourite show of America's new president, then I only have one question to ask: What are you doing here?

Hey Rob, sorry but I've just noticed your comment, I'm meant to get notified when somebody comments, admittedly it's a rare occurrence, I don't know what's happening with that, will look into it...
I know, people do go on about the Wire and I'm one of them, but it's with good reason, it's the kind of show that makes you want to tell people about it. If it's any small consolation, I'm envious of anybody that gets to come to it fresh and watch it all for the first time.
If you do fancy seeing it, Amazon often have the boxed sets going for a very reasonable price (about £15 or thereabouts)and it is nearly Christmas, maybe drop a few hints here and there...
